McDonald’s is celebrating nostalgia with its new collectible cups as part of the adult Happy Meal promotion.
The Collector’s Meal includes six collectible cups that pay tribute to beloved characters from the fast-food chain’s history, such as the Cowpoke McNugget Buddy from 1988, the McDonald’s Dragster from 1993, and the Hello Kitty Crew Keychain from 2000.
The new meals and cups launched on Tuesday, August 13, and can be ordered online, at the drive-thru, or in-store.
There are eight cup designs available with the adult Happy Meal, showcasing a variety of themes from the 1980s, 1990s, and early 2000s. The designs evoke memories of a simpler time, emphasizing childhood toys and family meals at McDonald’s.
The featured designs include:
– Barbie & Hot Wheels
– Beanie Babies
– Coca-Cola
– Hello Kitty & Peanuts
– Shrek, Jurassic Park & Minions
– McDonald’s-themed designs featuring Grimace Glass, Boo Buckets, and Funny Fry Friends
The Collector’s Meal is available all day, with options for breakfast and lunch. Each meal includes:
– A Sausage McMuffin with Egg, hash brown, and hot coffee during breakfast
– A 10-piece Chicken McNuggets or a Big Mac with fries and a soft drink during lunch and dinner
Prices for the meals vary across Tennessee. In Memphis, the Chicken Nugget and Big Mac versions are priced at $12.79, while in Nashville, they are available for $11.19. In Knoxville, the Chicken Nugget meal is $10.59, and the Big Mac meal costs $10.29.
