McDonald’s is celebrating its nostalgia with new collectible cups as part of its adult Happy Meal offering. The Collector’s Meal includes six cup designs inspired by popular characters from the fast-food chain’s history, such as the Cowpoke McNugget Buddy from 1988, the McDonald’s Dragster from 1993, and the Hello Kitty Crew Keychain from 2000.
Starting from Tuesday, August 13, customers can purchase the meals and collectible cups online, at the drive-thru, or in-store. The adult Happy Meal features eight distinct cup designs that evoke memories from the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s, reflecting a time when childhood toys and McDonald’s meals were cherished.
The collectible cup designs include themes like Barbie & Hot Wheels, Beanie Babies, Coca-Cola, Hello Kitty & Peanuts, and characters from Shrek, Jurassic Park, and Minions, along with images of the Grimace Glass, Boo Buckets, and Funny Fry Friends.
The Collector’s Meal is available throughout the day, with options for breakfast and lunch. Breakfast selections include a Sausage McMuffin with Egg sandwich, hash brown, and hot coffee, while customers can choose between a 10-piece Chicken McNuggets or a Big Mac sandwich with fries and a soft drink during lunch and dinner.
Prices for the meals vary across different locations in Tennessee. For instance, in Memphis, the Chicken Nugget and Big Mac meals were priced at $12.79, while Nashville offered both for $11.19. In Knoxville, the Chicken Nugget meal was available for $10.59 and the Big Mac meal for $10.29.
