Police officers in the Northern Division have been encouraged to uphold high standards of professionalism and strengthen community trust in their policing efforts. This call to action was made by Divisional Police Commander North, Senior Superintendent of Police Kemueli Baledrokadroka, during a divisional parade held yesterday.

SSP Baledrokadroka emphasized that the role of policing goes beyond mere law enforcement; it is crucial to cultivate strong relationships with the communities they serve and to manage challenging situations with care and professionalism. He pointed out that community policing is a vital strategy in addressing the root causes of crime.

Moreover, the commander urged officers to deliver consistent, high-quality service while intensifying their operations. He underscored the importance of collaboration in rebuilding confidence and trust in the police force. Such initiatives not only enhance public safety but also foster a more positive image of law enforcement among community members. By concentrating efforts on restoring trust, the police can effectively contribute to creating a safer environment for all.
