Police officers in the Northern Division have been urged to maintain high standards of professionalism and enhance community trust in their policing initiatives. This message was conveyed by Divisional Police Commander North, Senior Superintendent of Police Kemueli Baledrokadroka, during a divisional parade held yesterday.

SSP Baledrokadroka underscored that policing extends beyond simply enforcing laws; it is essential to foster strong relationships with the communities served and to handle tense situations with care and professionalism. He highlighted the significance of community policing as a critical approach to tackling the underlying causes of crime.

The commander called on officers to provide consistent, high-quality service and to increase the intensity of their operations, emphasizing the need for collaboration to restore confidence and trust in the police force. Such efforts not only enhance public safety but also contribute to a positive perception of law enforcement within the community. With a focused approach on rebuilding trust, the police can work effectively to ensure a safer environment for everyone.
