Nina Lin has publicly addressed rumors regarding her supposed permanent ban from Twitch, asserting that these claims are unfounded. In an Instagram Story shared on December 18, the 24-year-old content creator dismissed the speculation, stating, “Ain’t no way mfs making shit up now. Y’all are obsessed dw I’ll be back,” alongside a screenshot of a post from X.

Despite her denial, Lin’s Twitch profile currently appears deactivated, with users encountering an error message that reads: “This channel is currently unavailable due to a violation of Twitch’s Community Guidelines or Terms of Service.” This situation follows an incident earlier this month where Lin faced accusations of shoplifting at a Target store during a live stream, raising questions about whether this event contributed to her current ban status.

The controversy escalated when a clip emerged, showing Lin at a self-checkout machine where it appeared she scanned one item while allegedly holding another. During the same stream, Lin seemingly admitted to shoplifting, saying, “I’m telling you, bro, even if it was the steaks … ain’t nobody missing no fucking money, bitch. Calm the fuck down.” She further displayed a shoe she claimed to have taken from Target, humorously stating, “I got these from Target too, guys. Guess how much I paid? Free-99. Get mad, bitch.”

This is not the first incident involving Lin and Twitch. Her channel faced previous deactivation in October after a clip resurfaced showing her in a compromising situation with fellow content creator Zoe Spencer. Following that incident, Lin issued an apology.

The situation highlights the ongoing challenge streamers face in navigating community guidelines and public perception. While Nina Lin’s current deactivation raises questions, her confident rebuttal to the rumors may signal her intention to return stronger than before. The support from her fans and community could play a vital role in her comeback.
