International footballer Alemoh Moses Alfred has shared his insights into his rewarding experience in Fiji, following his participation in the Dayal’s Sawmillers National Club Championship 2025. The Nigerian striker played for 4R FC, which finished as runners-up after a 3–0 defeat to Northpole FC in the much-anticipated final held at the Fiji FA Academy Ground.

Though disappointed by the loss, Alfred spoke positively about the tournament, stating that the final was both challenging and enjoyable. He acknowledged the exceptional performance of Northpole FC, agreeing that their victory was well-deserved.

Reflecting on the match, Alfred highlighted how football can often be decided by small details. He noted that while 4R FC put forth their best effort, the outcome was not in their favor this time. However, he felt inspired by the experience and expressed optimism about returning stronger next season, with hopes of capturing the championship title.

Playing abroad, Alfred valued the opportunity to compete in the vibrant football scene of Fiji. He praised his teammates, coaching staff, and management for their unwavering support. Furthermore, he recognized the competitive nature of football in Fiji, suggesting that it holds a high level of play comparable to that in Nigeria. Alfred conveyed his eagerness to explore more playing opportunities in Fiji, emphasizing the potential for showcasing African football talent on the island.

In terms of rewards, Northpole FC took home $4,000 in prize money for their championship win, while 4R FC received $1,500 for their commendable second-place finish.
