NFL Season Kickoff: Rookie Stars Shine and Teams Ranked!

The San Francisco 49ers concluded an electrifying opening weekend for the 2024 NFL season with a victory over the New York Jets on “Monday Night Football.” The Kansas City Chiefs narrowly defeated the Baltimore Ravens 27-20, while the Minnesota Vikings, New Orleans Saints, and Dallas Cowboys also celebrated significant wins. Alongside the rankings, NFL Nation reporters highlighted standout newcomers—defined as rookies, new coaches, or significant offseason acquisitions—who made the biggest impact. Celebrations included Jerod Mayo and Mike Macdonald both securing their first wins as head coaches, as well as impressive performances from rookie playmakers.

The evaluation panel, comprising over 80 writers, editors, and television personalities, ranked NFL teams from 1 to 32 based on their performances.
