The 2025 NFL regular season has concluded, ushering 14 teams into the postseason race for this year’s Super Bowl crown. Meanwhile, for the 18 teams that did not make the playoffs, focus has shifted toward restructuring their coaching and management staff in hopes of a successful future.
As teams begin to part ways with their respective coaches and general managers, an ongoing tracker highlights which personnel have been released and the candidates being considered for their replacements across the league.
The Arizona Cardinals have made a significant move by parting ways with head coach Jonathan Gannon on January 5. They are expected to interview Broncos defensive coordinator Vance Joseph, and have also requested interviews with notable candidates such as 49ers defensive coordinator Robert Saleh, Dolphins defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver, Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak, and others, including Panthers executive vice president Brandt Tilis and Lions COO Mike Disner for the role of president of football operations.
In Atlanta, head coach Raheem Morris and General Manager Terry Fontenot were let go on January 4. The Falcons have already requested interviews with Seahawks offensive coordinator Kubiak and Dolphins defensive coordinator Weaver, and are anticipated to speak with former Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski, as well as Bears assistant GM Ian Cunningham.
The Cleveland Browns have also undergone changes, firing head coach Kevin Stefanski on January 5. They are eyeing interviews with Ravens offensive coordinator Todd Monken and Seahawks defensive coordinator Aden Durde for their head coach position.
The Las Vegas Raiders have similarly made a coaching change, parting ways with Pete Carroll on January 5. They are expected to explore options including Vance Joseph and Kubiak, along with interviewing Broncos quarterbacks coach Davis Webb.
In Miami, the Dolphins fired general manager Chris Grier back on October 31, and on January 5, initiated interviews with several high-profile candidates. These include 49ers vice president of player personnel Tariq Ahmad, Eagles assistant GM Alec Halaby, Rams assistant GM John McKay, Packers vice president Jon-Eric Sullivan, and 49ers director of scouting Josh Williams.
Meanwhile, the New York Giants have dismissed head coach Brian Daboll on November 10. They are pursuing interviews with former Browns head coach Stefanski, Broncos defensive coordinator Joseph, and Colts defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo.
Lastly, the Tennessee Titans moved on from head coach Brian Callahan on October 13. The Titans have a series of interviews scheduled, including former Falcons head coach raheem Morris and multiple candidates from the Chiefs and Colts.
