New Monsters and Exciting Events Await in Monster Hunter Wilds Update!

Capcom has announced an exciting new update for Monster Hunter Wilds, set to launch on June 30th, featuring two formidable monsters: Lagiacrus and Seregios. Lagiacrus, known for its stunning blue and electric design, first appeared as the flagship monster in Monster Hunter 3. The addition of Seregios, a fast-moving creature reminiscent of a Chocobo, from Monster Hunter 4, is sure to bring new dynamics to gameplay.

Additionally, fans can look forward to the Festival of Accord: Flamefete, which begins on July 23rd. This limited-time event will transform the main hub with festive decorations, offering players opportunities to earn exclusive equipment and gestures.

To celebrate the franchise’s anniversary, a special Monster Hunter themed Fender guitar was previously released, and players can soon access a gesture that allows in-game guitar shredding during an event from August 27th to September 24th.

The update will also introduce new outfits, free dance gestures, and a paid cosmetic pack, alongside the functionality to choose support hunters for missions. A new support hunter character, Mina, wielding a sword and shield, is also making her debut. Title update 3 is anticipated for late September, although a specific release date has yet to be disclosed.

In the meantime, Monster Hunter Wilds is currently available at a 20% discount on Steam, priced at £48, down from £60, making it a more appealing option for new players. While performance may vary for different users, the ongoing updates and events highlight Capcom’s commitment to enriching the player experience in this dynamic world of Monster Hunter.
