Students at Toga District School recently showcased their commitment to leadership during an induction ceremony for new prefects held last Friday. A total of 58 students assumed important roles, including the positions of two head prefects and two deputy head prefects. The event highlighted the values of dedication and service that are essential to the school community.

Isireli Tuitoga, the school’s lay preacher, was the chief guest at the ceremony. He spoke about the significant responsibilities that come with being a prefect and encouraged the students to actively support their teachers while contributing positively to the school environment. “You have an important responsibility in helping the teachers and serving the school, and you should carry out your duties with all your heart,” he urged the new leaders.

The induction ceremony was a proud moment for attending parents, who participated by placing badges on their children, officially signifying their new leadership roles. This celebration not only marks the beginning of the students’ responsibilities but also fosters a strong sense of pride and community involvement, as they embark on this vital journey of leadership and service. The encouragement from the school community suggests a commitment to nurturing future leaders who can make a meaningful impact.
