Residents of Navunisaleka Settlement in Kalabu, Naitasiri, can now take advantage of a safer route to essential services with the inauguration of a new foot crossing. The project, which cost $36,000, was funded by the government and officially opened by the Minister for Rural and Maritime Development, Sakiasi Ditoka. This updated crossing replaces a makeshift bridge that had posed serious safety risks, especially during flooding.
