New Fiji Housing Authority CEO Aims to Accelerate Affordable Housing

The Housing Authority of Fiji has announced Isikeli Navuda as its new Chief Executive Officer, with his tenure set to begin on October 1, 2025. Bringing over 30 years of experience within the Authority to his role, Mr. Navuda has previously served in key positions such as Acting CEO, General Manager of Lending Operations, and General Manager of Land & Housing Development.

Sereana Qoro, the Chairperson of the Housing Authority Board, emphasized the importance of Mr. Navuda’s appointment, especially in light of the current challenges the Authority faces. She noted the critical need for a leader capable of steering the delivery of residential lots and affordable housing initiatives, within defined timelines and with operational efficiency. Ms. Qoro expressed her confidence in Mr. Navuda’s leadership abilities and his comprehensive understanding of the Authority’s operations.

In his remarks, Mr. Navuda expressed gratitude for the opportunity to lead the Housing Authority. He committed to fostering collaboration with management and stakeholders to accelerate the provision of affordable housing solutions, aligning with the Authority’s mission to support Fijian families.
