USA Network’s upcoming series “Anna Pigeon” has announced new cast members as production continues in Calgary, Alberta. Joining series lead Tracy Spiridakos and regular cast member Ronnie Rowe Jr. are Jordan Sledz, Crystle Lightning, and Nikki Hallow, who will play significant recurring roles in the first season.

Sledz takes on the role of Zach Redhill, a former love interest from Anna’s past who is classically trained in acting. Lightning is set to portray Frieda Dierkz, the park’s dispatcher and essential support, who is keenly aware of the park’s inner workings. Hallow will play Christina Clark, an administrator who manages the park while navigating the challenges of being a single mother amid a tough divorce.

The series revolves around Anna Pigeon, played by Spiridakos, a former urbanite who becomes a park ranger following a traumatic personal loss. As she grapples with her past, she dedicates herself to solving crimes within the national parks, creating an engaging blend of drama and mystery. The show is adapted from the novels by Nevada Barr and is part of USA Network’s strategic effort to re-establish itself as a hub for scripted original content, following the recent launch of “The Rainmaker,” starring John Slattery.

With an extensive list of producers and directors, including Lea Thompson and various other notable figures in the industry, “Anna Pigeon” aims to deliver an intriguing narrative that weaves together personal struggles with thrilling crime investigation in the serene yet complex setting of national parks.

This collection of talent not only highlights the variety of backgrounds in front of the camera but also underscores USA Network’s commitment to diversity and representation within its new programming slate.
