The Pennsylvania Farm Show is gearing up to delight visitors once again, returning from January 10 to 17 at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex & Expo Center in Harrisburg. In keeping with tradition, this year’s event will showcase a diverse food court with several enticing new concessions, adding to the rich culinary experience the show is known for.

Set to open a day early on Friday from noon to 9 p.m. with complimentary parking, the food court will serve as a centerpiece of the expo. Known for its wide array of offerings, visitors can expect a taste of Pennsylvania’s agricultural bounty, featuring everything from milkshakes and baked potatoes to mushroom burgers.

During a recent media preview, some exciting new menu items were unveiled, spotlighting local vendors and their creative takes on flavors. One notable addition is the limited-edition milkshake flight from the PA Dairymen’s Association, comprising strawberry, vanilla, and the new blue raspberry flavor—perfect for celebrating the nation’s 250th birthday at a price of $21 for all three or $7 each.

Returning this year is the delightful strawberry sundae, combining soft serve vanilla ice cream with strawberry topping and whipped cream, available for just $6. Fans of chocolate can indulge in Dubai chocolate-covered strawberries, a luxurious treat featuring fresh strawberries coated with pistachio cream and melted Ghirardelli chocolate for $15.

Venture into the quirky realm of dill pickle pizza, presented by the Pennsylvania FFA for $6 a slice or $36 for a whole pie. This adventurous dish layers dill slices over traditional cheese pizza, appealing to both adventurous eaters and pickle enthusiasts.

Healthy options are also highlighted at this year’s food court, with acai bowls available for $10, allowing patrons to create their custom combinations with fresh fruits and various drizzles. Meanwhile, C&J Concessions offers fresh-pressed juices for $7.99, perfect for those looking to refresh with natural flavors.

To round out the unique offerings, the Mushroom Farmers of Pennsylvania introduce an intriguing Lion’s Mane mushroom coffee priced at $3—promised to enhance mental clarity—as well as a savory mushroom breakfast burrito for $6, made with fresh ingredients to kickstart your day.

As the anticipation builds for this year’s Farm Show, food lovers can look forward to a smorgasbord of tasty innovations that underscore Pennsylvania’s rich agricultural heritage, justifying the excitement that annually surrounds this beloved event.
