Former Flying Fijians winger and Crusaders star Nemani Nadolo has officially joined the coaching staff of Swire Shipping Fijian Drua as a Development Coach. This new role provides Nadolo with the perfect opportunity to apply his extensive rugby experience while shaping the future of the Drua and its players. Throughout his career, Nadolo has made 30 Test appearances for the Flying Fijians, boasting an impressive tally of 242 points.
Nadolo’s impactful career has included stints in top rugby leagues around the world, with significant contributions in Super Rugby Pacific, where he played 39 matches and scored 27 tries for the Crusaders. He also had a brief spell with the Waratahs, where he added another try to his career total in just four appearances. Notably, Nadolo ranks as the second-highest try scorer in the history of the Flying Fijians with 21 tries, a record he holds jointly with fellow Nadroga native Aisea Tuilevu. He ranks fourth on Fiji’s all-time points list, following legends Ben Volavola, Seremaia Bai, and Nicky Little.
At 37, Nadolo is shifting his focus towards developing player skills and enhancing the development pathway within the Drua organization. He expressed excitement about this opportunity, emphasizing his commitment to nurturing young talent and contributing positively to the future of rugby in Fiji.
