NCC 2025 Finals: Six Clubs in Battle for Fiji Crown

The Dayal’s Sawmillers National Club Championship 2025 has officially announced its final play-offs, signaling a thrilling end to this year’s football season. Six elite club teams from across the nation have secured their spots in the national finals following impressive performances during the recent zonal playoffs.

Scheduled to take place from Thursday, December 11, to Sunday, December 14, at the Fiji FA Academy Ground in Vatuwaqa, the championship promises to be a spectacle of skill and competition. Fiji Football Association Chief Executive Officer Mohammed Yusuf emphasized the importance of this tournament, highlighting the diverse representation from all major districts. He stated, “The NCC would close out an exciting year of football,” underlining the event’s significance.

While the competition may see some teams affected by the absence of a few players who have signed professional contracts with Bula FC, Yusuf remarked that this trend is a testament to the robustness of Fiji’s football talent development program.

The tournament will feature two matches each on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, culminating in the grand final on Sunday at 1 p.m. The champions will be awarded a prize of $4,000, while the runner-up will receive $1,500. This championship not only showcases high-caliber football but also reflects the growing competitiveness and spirit of development within Fiji’s football landscape, promising fans an exhilarating conclusion to the season.
