Twelve teams are preparing for the highly anticipated 2025 Dayal’s Sawmillers National Club Championship (NCC) zonal competition, vying for a prestigious spot in the national finals scheduled for next month. As the competition heats up, each zone is gearing up for an exciting series of matchups.
In the Northern Division, the defending champions, Northpole FC from Labasa, will take on Taveuni’s Legends FC in a crucial playoff match set for December 6 at Bocalevu Primary School. The winner of this match will claim the exclusive representative position from the North in the finals of the NCC.
The Southern Division will feature six teams split into two groups. Group A will see Friends United FC, Lami Rangers FC, and Narere Buses Combine FC compete, while Group B consists of Combine Verata FC, League FC, and Police FC. The leaders of each group will automatically qualify for the finals, and the second-placed teams will battle it out for the final available spot.
In the Western Division, four teams—4R FC from Ba, Ray United FC from Lautoka, Army FC from Nadi, and Downtown FC from Nadroga—will compete in a round-robin format from December 4 to 7 at the Fiji FA Academy in Ba. The top two teams from this division will move on to the playoffs, which are scheduled to take place from December 11 to 14, although the venue for these matches has yet to be confirmed.
