NBC is set to unveil a spectacular two-hour concert special titled “Wicked: One Wonderful Night,” which will air on November 6 at 8 PM ET. Filmed at the iconic Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, the concert will immerse viewers in the magical world of the Emerald City, featuring a stunning 37-piece live orchestra under the baton of esteemed musical director Stephen Oremus.

Hosted by the stars of the upcoming film adaptation, Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, the concert will showcase not only their performances but also musical contributions from their co-stars, including Michelle Yeoh, Jeff Goldblum, Ethan Slater, Bowen Yang, and Marissa Bode. Fans can expect reimagined musical arrangements, cast interviews, behind-the-scenes moments, and exclusive surprises throughout the event. Additionally, viewers will be treated to a sneak peek of the film’s two original songs written by Stephen Schwartz, marking an exciting chapter in the beloved story.

In a newly released preview clip, Slater and Yang give a captivating rendition of “Dancing Through Life,” stepping into the roles embraced by Jonathan Bailey in the original production. The concert features choreography by Christopher Scott, who has creatively adapted many of the iconic dance numbers from the screen to the stage, enhancing the visual experience for fans.

Following its television debut, “Wicked: One Wonderful Night” will be available for streaming on Peacock starting November 7, allowing audiences to revisit the magic at their convenience. Produced by Fulwell Entertainment, with executive producers Ben Winston and Raj Kapoor at the helm, this special promises to be a memorable celebration of the beloved musical and its forthcoming cinematic premiere on November 21.
