The NBA has unveiled a transformative partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) aimed at significantly enhancing the fan experience through innovative AI technology. This collaboration will introduce the new platform known as NBA Inside the Game, which will provide fans with AI-driven statistics and insights.

NBA Inside the Game is designed to give basketball enthusiasts the ability to delve into comprehensive statistics regarding their favorite teams and players. This initiative is poised to enrich the live viewing experience, offering fans unprecedented insights into game dynamics.

Looking towards the future, the partnership also includes plans for streaming NBA games. Starting in 2025, Prime Video will exclusively stream 66 regular-season NBA games, featuring major events like the Emirates NBA Cup, the NBA Playoffs, and WNBA games from 2026 onwards.

As part of this collaboration, AWS will serve as the official cloud and AI partner for the NBA and its affiliated leagues, encompassing the WNBA, NBA G League, Basketball Africa League, and NBA Take-Two Media.

Ken DeGennaro, the NBA’s executive vice president and Head of Media Operations and Technology, expressed excitement about the collaboration, stating, “Partnering with AWS gives us an opportunity to elevate the live game experience through innovation.” He highlighted the importance of equipping fans with deeper insights into the sport of basketball.
