Residents of Navunisaleka Settlement in Kalabu, Naitasiri, are now enjoying safer access to essential services thanks to the inauguration of a new foot crossing. The project, funded by the government at a cost of $36,000, was officially opened by Minister for Rural and Maritime Development, Sakiasi Ditoka. This new crossing replaces a previously used makeshift bridge that posed significant safety risks, especially during flood periods.
