Navaga Village in Ba experienced a heartwarming surprise visit from the Fiji Police Force, along with various community partners, who brought goodwill and gifts to the residents. During this visit, the team unveiled a new village signboard and accompanying by-laws, sponsored by Bethel Electrical Services Limited, that aim to promote community discipline and strengthen local governance.
In the spirit of early Christmas festivities, representatives from Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child distributed gift boxes to the children of Navaga. In support of the occasion, the Punjas Group contributed essential food items as part of its community outreach initiative celebrating its 90th anniversary.
The event also included the participation of the New Zealand Police, who donated rugby balls to the Veilomani Youth Club as a part of their ongoing “Sports Dash” program in collaboration with the Western Division Blue Light Team. This partnership not only promotes sports and recreation among the youth but also underscores the significance of community involvement and support.
This visit exemplified the collective efforts of law enforcement agencies, businesses, and charitable organizations in enhancing the well-being of Fijian communities. As the festive season approaches, such initiatives foster a sense of togetherness and reinforce the values of care and support within the community, highlighting the importance of collaboration for achieving positive results that benefit everyone involved. Ultimately, events like this cultivate a hopeful outlook on future community engagement, demonstrating the power of unity and shared purpose.
