Historically, NAU holds a narrow edge over Montana in their all-time series at 38-37, with their last encounter resulting in a 3-1 loss for the Lumberjacks earlier this month in Missoula. Montana State also boasts a 6-3 Big Sky record and stands at 11 wins and 9 losses overall. The Bobcats are coming off a strong performance where they defeated Weber State and swept Idaho State. Notably, Lauren Lindseth from Montana State has been recognized as the Big Sky Defensive Player of the Week, underscoring her outstanding play, particularly with an average of 5.57 digs per set.
In their latest matchup, Montana State edged out NAU with a close 3-2 victory. However, Northern Arizona has been performing strongly at home, having won their last nine games on their own court. The Lumberjacks lead the all-time series against the Bobcats at 44-32.
