On Wednesday, November 13, 2024, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte will host U.S. Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken at NATO Headquarters. During this visit, Mr. Blinken is expected to engage with member countries at the North Atlantic Council (NAC).

Media representatives with annual accreditation to NATO are invited to attend the event in person. Journalists without this accreditation but who have been accredited for a prior event in 2024 should contact NatoAccreditations@hq.nato.int to express interest in covering this meeting. However, due to time constraints, last-minute accreditation may not be guaranteed.

Media individuals covering the event are asked to gather in front of the Press Shop at NATO HQ at 8:30 AM. The event will be streamed live on X (@NATOPress) and the NATO website. Following the event, a transcript of the Secretary General’s statements and photographs will be available on the NATO website, and a video will be accessible on the NATO Multimedia Portal.
