At just 19 years old, Naomi Tegu has made significant strides in rugby league, earning a call-up to the Fiji Bulikula squad. “I started playing rugby league in 2023, and I’m very happy to have been noticed by coach Wise,” she said. Despite facing challenges along the way, Tegu’s determination has kept her focused on her goal of debuting for the Bulikula. “There were some obstacles, but they did not deter me,” she reflected.
