Boxing enthusiasts in Fiji’s western division are eagerly anticipating the FMF Bluewater Boxing Promotion at Prince Charles Park in Nadi. Organized by promoter Mohammed Samir, this event promises an engaging array of matches catering to fans of all ages, featuring both young and veteran fighters, with international bouts adding to the allure.

According to Samir, preparations are complete, setting the stage for a thrilling event. The program will begin with youth fights from local schools including Nadi Muslim College, Drasa Primary, and Lautoka Muslim College, allowing budding talent to shine. The event further enjoys a mix of seasoned boxers, ensuring a captivating experience for all attendees.

A key highlight will be Alifereti Kauyaca defending his title against Savenaca Naliva of Sorokoba, promising an intense competition. An added layer of excitement comes from an international matchup between Kolinio Luvelolo and Canberra’s Brian Roberts, which is expected to be a gripping contest.

The event schedule indicates gates will open at 4 p.m., with youth matchups starting at 5.30 p.m. The professional card, featuring 14 thrilling bouts, commences at 6.15 p.m. Tickets are priced to accommodate various audiences, with options at $20 and $30 for ringside views, while VIP seating is almost sold out at $50, in addition to all corporate tables.

For those who cannot attend in person, the event will be streamed live on the Viti Plus platform for $99 FJD, enabling a global audience to join in the excitement.
