The Capitol Police expressed their concerns, stating, “These recent pizza deliveries are troubling and yet again, bring to light the heightened threat landscape we are living in. The unsolicited pizza deliveries are particularly alarming in the wake of recent violence, including the shooting of two Minnesota state lawmakers at their homes and the subsequent manhunt for the suspected shooter, Vance Boelter. Boelter’s manifesto listed approximately 70 individuals, primarily lawmakers and abortion advocates, as targets, raising further concerns about the safety of public officials. The chilling list allegedly included notable figures such as Senators Amy Klobuchar and Tina Smith, along with Representatives Ilhan Omar and Kelly Morrison.
