His manager, Tasha Felder, confirmed his death on August 15, 2024, through a statement on Instagram.

Felder expressed the loss felt by many, stating, “Today, Aug. 15, 2024, we have lost BeatKing. He has been the best part of the club for over a decade. He has produced and worked with so many artists that his sound will forever live. He loved his daughters, his music, and his fans. We will love him forever.”

Hailing from Houston, BeatKing was a prominent figure in the local music landscape, with his tracks often serving as the backdrop for club-goers. His impact reached beyond the city, as he collaborated with prominent artists including 2 Chainz, Moneybagg Yo, and Erica Banks. His unique musical style and knack for creating hit songs made him a cherished artist within the rap community.
