Music Meets Charity: The Hometown To Hometown Fundraiser is Back!

The sixth annual “Hometown To Hometown” fundraiser is scheduled for November 11 at City Winery in Nashville. This year’s event will recognize mtheory’s Cameo Carlson, along with renowned country artists Lee Ann Womack and Old Dominion, for their significant contributions to the music industry and advocacy for music education.

Hosted by industry expert Leslie Fram and rising star Dasha, the event will feature performances by Womack, Old Dominion, and Mickey Guyton. Tickets for the charity event are currently available for purchase.

Proceeds from this year’s fundraiser will benefit music technology programs in under-resourced high schools located in Nashville, Washington, D.C., and Texas. Since its inception in 2019, the initiative has successfully supported 12 music education programs in the hometowns of previous honorees, positively impacting thousands of students across the nation. Danielle Zalaznick, Chief Development Officer and Deputy Executive Director at Save The Music, highlighted the significance of the event, emphasizing the music community’s dedication to inspiring future generations through their passion for music.

This celebration of talent and community showcases a commitment to enriching the lives of young students and fostering the next generation of musicians and artists. It serves as a reminder of the power of music in education and its role in shaping future leaders in the industry.
