This certification includes three different barrel lengths: 10.5”, 13”, and 14.5”, providing American consumers with diverse options once the rifle becomes available through distributor Arms of America. However, the exact appearance of the U.S. version of the MSBS GROT pistols remains unclear, as the images currently available are from the Polish website and may not represent the final product.
The successful certification is the culmination of a multi-year endeavor to modify the GROT pistol to meet U.S. regulatory standards and to complete the required inspections. The GROT Pistol retains the modular design and ergonomic features that have become synonymous with the model, potentially serving as a competitive alternative to the widely popular AR-15 platform. Seweryn Figurski, President of Fabryka Broni “Łucznik” Radom, stated that securing ATF certification is a crucial step in establishing the company’s presence in the U.S. market. This achievement is attributed to a collaborative effort between their American distributor and Fabryka Broni’s expert team, who worked diligently through each phase of the certification process.
With the ATF approval now secured, preparations for manufacturing tailored for the U.S. market have commenced. Specific availability dates will be announced as production and logistics undergo ramp-up, and the final configuration options will be decided in conjunction with the distributor. Daniel Wilk, a member of Fabryka Broni’s Management Board, noted the consistent interest in the GROT at events like the Shot Show. He remarked that many potential customers have pointed out the absence of a European platform offering the same level of modularity and ergonomics in the local market. The readiness to adapt production for American consumers represents not just an expansion opportunity for the company but also a key development phase for the MSBS system.
