COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Mountain West Conference has unveiled a groundbreaking media rights package that secures partnerships with CBS Sports, FOX Sports, The CW Network, and Kiswe. The agreements will span six years, running from the 2026-27 season through to the 2031-32 season, for CBS Sports, FOX Sports, and Kiswe, while the CW Network has committed to a five-year partnership lasting until the 2030-31 season. These collaborations promise significant visibility and extensive coverage for Mountain West Football and Men’s and Women’s Basketball, as well as a diverse range of Olympic Sports.

Mountain West Commissioner Gloria Nevarez emphasized the importance of these partnerships, stating, “This represents the broadest media distribution plan in the Conference’s history, delivering unprecedented national linear visibility coupled with a creative and comprehensive digital presence.” She highlighted that the alliance with leading broadcast networks and innovative streaming platforms ensures that student-athletes have ample opportunities to showcase their talents, academic accomplishments, and personal journeys, representing their universities with pride.

The relationship between CBS Sports and the Mountain West is long-standing, extending over two decades. CBS Sports will continue to broadcast key game selections for both football and basketball. FOX Sports has renewed its existing six-year agreement with the conference, maintaining its focus on showcasing premier college football and basketball events, including the highly anticipated Mountain West football championship game. The CW Network joins as a new national broadcast partner, enhancing the extensive coverage offered across CBS, CBS Sports Network, Paramount+, FOX, FS1, FS2, and The CW.

Dan Weinberg, Executive Vice President of Programming at CBS Sports, remarked, “The Mountain West has been a valued partner for more than two decades, and we’re proud that CBS Sports will continue to showcase the conference’s marquee games across our platforms.” He noted that this new agreement enhances their college sports portfolio significantly.
