Police are currently awaiting the results of a post-mortem examination following the tragic discovery of a 15-year-old boy’s body at Tamaivua-i-Wai. The deceased has been identified as a student from Samabula.
Authorities report that the teenager had been missing since Christmas Eve. He left home with friends to travel into Suva City but did not return. Concerned family members initiated their own search efforts within the local community and among relatives and friends. It was only after these attempts that they visited the Samabula Police Station to officially report him as missing.
