Authorities in Washington state are actively searching for three young sisters, 9-year-old Paityn Decker, 8-year-old Evelyn Decker, and 5-year-old Olivia Decker, who have been missing since May 31. The sisters were last seen leaving their home for a scheduled visitation with their father, Travis Decker. According to the Wenatchee Police Department, this visitation was part of a parenting plan but has since raised concerns due to deviations from the established terms.
Travis Decker, 32, has been reported as homeless, often living in his vehicle or staying at various motels or campgrounds. Since leaving for the visitation, neither the girls nor their father has been able to be contacted, prompting police to issue an Endangered Missing Person Alert through the Washington State Patrol, even though the situation does not currently meet the criteria for an AMBER Alert.
The police have described Decker as approximately 5 feet, 8 inches tall, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen driving a 2017 GMC Sierra with the Washington license plate number DC0165C. The sisters’ appearances are also noted; Paityn was wearing a blue shirt and purple shorts, Evelyn has blond hair and was seen in a similar outfit, while little Olivia was last spotted in a coral and pink shirt.
Authorities ask that anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Decker or the sisters contact 911 immediately. There remains hope that the swift response from law enforcement and community awareness will lead to the safe return of the girls.
