Leading this dynamic offense is Andrew Marsh, who has not only delivered 16 of these big plays—15 through receptions and one via a rushing attempt—but has also excelled in kickoff returns, adding another six significant plays to his tally.
The offensive line has been a crucial component of Michigan’s success, enabling the Wolverines to score 32 rushing touchdowns, which ranks them 10th in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS). Despite facing adversity with injuries that led to five different starting lineups in 12 games, the line has maintained consistency, allowing only 18 sacks.
Michigan’s effective play on both sides of the ball has led to a formidable rushing attack, averaging 213.2 yards per game, ranking 16th nationally. On defense, Michigan has shown resilience, forcing turnovers in 11 of their 12 games, and boasts a total of 13 interceptions this season. The defensive unit ranks 21st overall, allowing 312.3 yards per game, while their rushing defense stands out at 14th nationally, limiting opponents to 101.7 yards per contest. Derrick Moore has made a name for himself, leading the team with 10 sacks and earning recognition as a top player in the Big Ten.
