Metallica has announced that they will continue their tour next year after a successful run supporting their 2023 album, “72 Seasons.” The iconic band will be making a stop in Philadelphia for two performances at Lincoln Financial Field on May 23 and May 25, 2025.
The upcoming tour will feature four additional acts, including Pantera, Limp Bizkit, Suicidal Tendencies, and Ice Nine Kills. The band will also maintain their signature No Repeat Weekend tradition, which includes different opening acts and set lists for back-to-back shows.
The tour is set to kick off in April 2025, with tickets going on sale starting Friday, September 27, 2024, at 10 a.m.
In addition to Philadelphia, Metallica will perform in Nashville for the first time in five years on May 1 and 3, 2025, and will return to Tampa, Florida, after 15 years on June 6 and 8, 2025. They will also perform in their home area of California on June 20 and 22, 2025, in Santa Clara.
The tour will include stops at college football stadiums in Syracuse, New York, and Blacksburg, Virginia. Metallica’s 2025 itinerary will feature two headline performances at the Sick New World festival in Las Vegas on April 12 and at the Sonic Temple festival in Columbus, Ohio, on May 9 and 11.
