As Halloween approaches, Memphis is gearing up for a festive Halloweekend filled with a variety of events catering to both families and adults. ABC24 has put together an exciting list featuring several activities happening throughout the Mid-South on Friday, October 31.
For families looking to get into the Halloween spirit, a range of events are taking place. One option includes festivities at 3773 Old Allen Road from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., providing a fun atmosphere for all ages. Over in Southaven, another family-friendly event will be held at 5205 Airways Blvd. from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., inviting attendees to enjoy an evening filled with Halloween activities. For families looking to celebrate a bit later, the event at 644 Madison Ave. in Memphis runs from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., charging $35 per person, which includes food and drinks.
More Halloween fun can be found at 363 Mulberry St. from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. For those in the Overton Park area, festivities are happening at 1567 Overton Park Ave. between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. Finally, Millington residents can enjoy an event at 3805 West Union Rd. from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., with a reasonable admission fee of $21.10.
For adults seeking a more spirited celebration, the nightlife scene in Memphis will come alive with various late-night options. At 303 South Main St., there’s a $10 cover charge, though women aged 21 and over can enter free before 10 p.m. The highlight of the evening includes free Bachata lessons at 9:30 p.m. and a costume competition offering a $300 prize.
Additionally, there will be a Halloween bar crawl beginning at Coyote Ugly Saloon on Beale Street, allowing participants to check in between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. and join in the fun from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. for an admission fee of $26.39. While more adult events occur, such as at 305 S. Front St. from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and at The Cadre Building, which opens doors at 7 p.m. with activities kicking off at 9:30 p.m.
Last but not least, revelers can enjoy the nightlife at 315 Beale St. from 6 p.m. to 11:55 p.m. With a mix of family-friendly entertainment and adult festivities, Memphis is set to create delightful memories for everyone this Halloweekend.
