Muni Long will take the stage at the inaugural Pete & Thomas Foundation Gala hosted by Megan Thee Stallion in New York City on July 16 at Gotham Hall. Megan Thee Stallion has personally organized this event to honor her late parents, Holly Thomas and Joseph Pete III.

The glamorous evening will feature actress Taraji P. Henson as the host and music provided by DJ D-Nice, ensuring a vibrant atmosphere for all attendees. Proceeds from the gala’s auction will support a range of initiatives focused on essential areas such as education, housing, health, and wellness, underscoring the event’s commitment to social causes. Among the honorees are notable figures including pastors Juanita and Rudy Rasmus, LaTosha Brown, founder of the Southern Black Girls & Women’s Consortium, and Mila Henry, founder of MH Boxes.

Megan Thee Stallion, who launched the Pete & Thomas Foundation in 2022, is dedicated to uplifting women, children, seniors, and underserved communities. “Launching the Pete and Thomas Foundation is easily one of the most significant endeavors that I’ll ever be part of in my career,” Megan said previously. She emphasizes her family’s values of helping others, aligning her platform to make a positive impact on those in need.

Muni Long, known for her hit single “Hrs and Hrs,” recently released “Slow Grind,” marking an exciting start to 2025. This gala not only celebrates the legacies of Megan’s parents but also highlights the collective effort to support those who may not have access to vital resources.

It is uplifting to see artists using their platforms to foster change and support their communities, and this gala promises to be a fantastic celebration of that mission.
