Megan Moroney, the rapidly ascending country singer, has been announced as the headliner for Summerfest’s opening night on June 18, 2026. This announcement was made by festival officials on December 4, 2025. Moroney, who previously captivated an audience of approximately 3,500 at the Rave’s Eagles Ballroom in July, will take the stage at the American Family Insurance Amphitheater, which accommodates 23,000 attendees. This performance is part of her promotional tour for her upcoming album, “Cloud 9,” set to be released on February 20.
Tickets for the anticipated event will be available starting at 10 a.m. on December 12, both at the box office located at 200 N. Harbor Drive and online at summerfest.com. While ticket prices have not yet been revealed, they will include access to general admission for Summerfest on June 18.
Summerfest has been curating an impressive lineup for the 2026 festival, which highlights renowned artists performing at the amphitheater. Among the major acts slated to perform are Garth Brooks, who will kick off the festival with concerts on June 16 and 17, followed by Ed Sheeran and Post Malone on June 25 and 27, respectively. Additionally, the British rock band Muse is scheduled to play their only North American show of the year on July 2, along with Alex Warren, who returns to the festival with his hit song “Ordinary” on July 3. Former One Direction member Louis Tomlinson and country artist Russell Dickerson will also headline at the BMO Pavilion, performing on June 26 and 27, respectively.
Summerfest will take place over three weekends, specifically from June 18-20, June 25-27, and July 2-4, promising a vibrant celebration of music and culture in Milwaukee.
