McDonald’s is preparing for Valentine’s Day by introducing a unique and luxurious treat: the McNugget Caviar kits. This limited-time offering will be available exclusively online starting February 10.
The inspiration behind this quirky combination of chicken nuggets and caviar stems from a viral dish created by the New York-based Korean-inspired fried chicken restaurant COQODAQ, which gained attention during the 2025 U.S. Open. At that event, they sold six chicken nuggets topped with Petrossian caviar, crème fraîche, and chives for an extravagant price of $100.
In a departure from that high price tag, McDonald’s is making their McNugget Caviar kits available for free. The kits can be accessed through the McDonald’s website while supplies last, and they will be available beginning at 11 a.m. ET on February 10.
The McNugget Caviar kit includes a 1-ounce tin of their own McNugget Caviar, a $25 McDonald’s gift card, crème fraîche, and a Mother of Pearl caviar spoon, made possible through a collaboration with Paramount Caviar.
As a luxury food item, caviar consists of salt-cured, unfertilized fish eggs, primarily sourced from sturgeon fish. Its unique flavor and texture can vary depending on the type of fish.
This initiative not only adds a playful twist to McDonald’s menu but also makes an upscale dining experience accessible to a wider audience, allowing customers to indulge in a unique culinary adventure this Valentine’s Day.
