McDonald’s has launched a new adult Happy Meal that features collectible cups, celebrating iconic memorabilia and characters from the brand’s history. The Collector’s Meal can be found at McDonald’s outlets starting today.
This special offer includes six cup designs inspired by beloved collectibles like the Cowpoke McNugget Buddy from 1988, the McDonald’s Dragster from 1993, and the Hello Kitty Crew Keychain from 2000.
The designs available for the adult Happy Meal cups are:
– Barbie & Hot Wheels
– Beanie Babies
– Coca-Cola
– Hello Kitty & Peanuts
– Shrek, Jurassic Park & Minions
– McDonald’s themed cups featuring Grimace Glass, Boo Buckets, and Funny Fry Friends
The Collector’s Meal is offered all day and includes different options depending on the time of day. Breakfast selections comprise a Sausage McMuffin with Egg sandwich, hash brown, and hot coffee, while lunch and dinner options include a 10-piece Chicken McNuggets or a Big Mac with fries and a soft drink.
In some stores, meals containing the Big Mac or McNuggets were priced at $11.58, though they were not available for purchase via the app on Tuesday afternoon.
To enhance the experience, customers can access a Snapchat augmented reality feature by scanning the cup or visiting McDonald’s Snapchat profile.
Additionally, McDonald’s is organizing real-life events on August 17, which include a pool party with DJ performances and exclusive drinks inspired by the Collector’s Meal cups at Santa Monica Pier in Los Angeles. Another event involves free rides on the Phoenix Roller Coaster at Deno’s Wonder Wheel Amusement Park at Coney Island, where a Collector’s Meal cup offers entry.
This special promotion will be available for a limited time.
