McDonald’s has decided to extend its popular $5 meal deal for several more weeks. According to Bloomberg, a memo revealed that most U.S. McDonald’s locations have opted to continue this promotion, which originally started on June 25.

The meal deal will remain available at about 93% of locations nationwide, though the duration of the promotion may differ by restaurant, with some extending it until August.

As consumers face rising food prices, especially in the fast-casual dining sector, the McDonald’s bundle has proven effective for the company. Foot traffic analytics firm Placer.ai reported a significant increase in customers at McDonald’s following the launch of the deal, highlighting its appeal among consumers.

This promotion has prompted other fast-casual dining chains to introduce their own deals in response. Arby’s has rolled out a $9 meal bundle, while Sonic has introduced a $1.99 value menu permanently. Additionally, Taco Bell announced a limited-time $7 Luxe Cravings Box and is continuing its $5 Taco Discovery Box along with its Cravings Value Menu.

In late May, Burger King announced it would extend its $5 “Your Way Meal” beyond McDonald’s offering and revealed plans to add new items to its “Fiery Menu.” Meanwhile, Wendy’s has introduced a $3 breakfast bundle and a $5 combo called the “Biggie Bag.”
