Maya Hawke, known for her role in “Stranger Things,” and folk singer-songwriter Christian Lee Hutson celebrated a romantic Valentine’s Day with a surprise wedding. According to People Magazine, the nuptials were attended by Hawke’s famous parents, Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman, alongside her “Stranger Things” co-stars, including Natalia Dyer, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Sadie Sink, and Joe Keery.
At 27 years old, Hawke is slightly younger than 35-year-old Hutson. Their engagement was made public when Hutson shared the news during a 2025 interview with SoCal Sound Session, and Hawke was later spotted wearing a diamond ring, further confirming their commitment. The couple initially crossed paths while working on music projects years ago.
In a 2024 interview on the “Zach Sang Show,” Hawke expressed her enthusiasm about their relationship, stating, “It’s awesome. I cannot recommend highly enough dating your friends. It’s the best. They know you, and as a human being who has dated other people. They really know you as a person who has feelings … not just a piece of paper for them to project their image of perfect girlfriend onto.”
Christian Lee Hutson began his musical journey with The Driftwood Singers before launching his solo career in 2014. Since then, he has released five studio albums, with his most recent, “Paradise Pop. 10,” debuting in 2024, along with six extended plays.
This surprise wedding not only marks a significant milestone in both Hawke and Hutson’s personal lives but also highlights the beautiful convergence of friendship and love that can flourish in the creative industry.
