In discussing his music, McNown reflects on the theme of growing up, noting, “To me, the cost of growing up is an acceptance that difficult things are going to happen—from minor inconveniences to devastating loss, it’s all a part of life. But there’s also beauty in that because, without those hard moments, you wouldn’t be able to truly love.”

McNown is currently captivating audiences on his sold-out headline tour, which runs through June. He is also scheduled to perform at several notable festivals, including Boston Calling, CMA Fest, and Lollapalooza, in addition to an appearance on the Today show on May 29.

The tracklist for Night Diving (The Cost of Growing Up) features a mix of collaborations, showcasing McNown’s diverse songwriting partnerships. It includes titles such as “Forever Ain’t Long Enough,” “Better Me For You,” “Marley,” and “Roses and Wolves,” featuring Hailey Whitters.

This upcoming release is a testament to McNown’s growth as an artist and his understanding of life’s complexities, making his music relatable and meaningful. Fans can look forward to an enriching listening experience that encapsulates both the struggles and beauty of growing up.
