Mavericks Aim to Extend Winning Streak on Challenging Road Trip

No. 13 Minnesota State is set to continue its season on the road this weekend, facing Minnesota Duluth and St. Cloud State. The Mavericks, currently holding a 5-1-2 record, are looking to build on their success from the previous weekend when they secured two victories against Minot State and UMary.

In their upcoming match against Minnesota Duluth, the Mavericks have a strong historical advantage with a record of 24-8-5 against the Bulldogs. Their last encounter ended with a decisive 3-0 win for Minnesota State at The Pitch last season.

Minnesota Duluth, struggling this season with a 1-5-1 record, recently finished a 1-1 draw against Wayne State and suffered a 2-0 defeat against Augustana. Anna Tobias has been a standout player for the Bulldogs, contributing one goal and one assist so far this season.

The Mavericks will also compete against St. Cloud State, against whom they boast a 27-7-3 record. Their last matchup ended in a scoreless draw. The Huskies currently have a 6-2 record, having recently lost 1-0 to Augustana before bouncing back with a 2-0 victory against Wayne State.
