Matthew McConaughey made a memorable appearance as a guest analyst during Fox’s Big Noon Saturday halftime segment, showcasing his broadcasting skills while watching the highly anticipated college football game between No. 3 Texas and No. 10 Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The actor, an alumnus of the University of Texas at Austin, seemed pleased with the Longhorns’ commanding halftime lead of 24-3.

During the analysis, McConaughey commended Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers for his performance, noting his completion of 18 passes out of 26 attempts for 203 yards and two touchdowns at halftime. He also highlighted the effectiveness of Texas’s defensive line, describing their play as “smothering.”

Urban Meyer, a Big Noon Saturday analyst and former football coach, recognized McConaughey’s talent, stating, “That is really well done. You have a future doing that.” McConaughey further elaborated on Ewers’ composure, offering insight into the quarterback’s handling of the game.
