Matt Rife is set to take his new Stay Golden comedy tour to California, delighting fans across the Golden State. The popular comedian, who has gained significant recognition in the stand-up scene over the past few years, announced his tour plans on Tuesday, kicking off the tour in 2025, starting March 8 in Dallas.
The tour features four stops in California, commencing with a performance on April 12 at Save Mart Arena in Fresno, followed by an April 13 show at Viejas Arena in San Diego. In the fall, Rife will return to California for performances on October 18 at the Honda Center in Anaheim and October 19 at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View. Between these California shows, he will also visit major cities such as Honolulu, New York City, Montreal, Seattle, and St. Louis.
The final show currently scheduled is a New Year’s Eve performance at TD Garden in Boston. Tickets for the general public will go on sale Friday at noon local time, with an artist presale beginning Wednesday at noon.
Rife has captured the attention of audiences with his sharp crowd work, earning him viral fame on TikTok in 2022. His recent on-stage accolades include the successful release of his special “Matthew Steven Rife” in April 2023 and the Netflix special “Matt Rife: Natural Selection,” which debuted in November 2023. He made history by becoming the youngest comedian to sell out the Hollywood Bowl during the Netflix Is a Joke Festival in May and released “Lucid: A Crowd Work Special” on Netflix in August.
