MAGA activist Laura Loomer has launched a fierce criticism against far-right figures for attempting to obstruct Vivek Ramaswamy’s campaign for the governorship of Ohio. Loomer accused them of a “mask off moment” as they encourage voters to back alternative candidates instead of Ramaswamy, who is a former presidential contender for 2024.

In a clip shared by Loomer, white nationalist Nick Fuentes expressed his views during a livestream, urging supporters to vote for a “protest candidate,” whether that be a Democrat or a third-party option, essentially aiming to deny Ramaswamy victory. Fuentes’ message included inflammatory rhetoric, as he stated that conservatives need to ensure Ramaswamy does not take the governorship.

This controversy unfolded shortly after Ramaswamy addressed Fuentes in a New York Times op-ed and during his remarks at the Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest conference. There, Ramaswamy strongly condemned Fuentes’ ideology, emphasizing that anyone who idolizes figures like Hitler has no place in the future of the conservative movement.

Reacting to Fuentes’ comments, Loomer labeled them as sabotage against the Trump agenda. In her repost, she expressed frustration over what she perceives as a maneuver to shift Ohio’s political landscape toward the Democratic side, potentially undermining Trump’s influence moving into the crucial election years of 2026 and 2028.

Loomer has consistently been vocal against those whom she believes fail to uphold Trump’s agenda. Recently, she has also criticized former Fox News host Tucker Carlson for his contentious interview with Fuentes, claiming that Carlson seeks to reshape the GOP in a way that threatens the principles of the MAGA movement. Additionally, Loomer has taken aim at Heritage Foundation president Kevin Roberts for defending Carlson’s actions, arguing that such stances could jeopardize the foundation’s future.

Loomer’s outcry highlights a divide within the conservative faction, as prominent figures clash over ideological loyalty and the direction of the party amidst the upcoming elections.
