Thorne expressed her hope that this won’t be the last appearance of this character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). “I don’t think it’s the last that we’ll see him in the MCU,” she said, emphasizing the excitement surrounding the character’s introduction. “It’s the best boost of encouragement… to see how much the fans have been waiting for that,” she added.
Ramos supported this sentiment, calling the unnamed actor “one of the elite actors of our time” and suggesting that the guest appearance would be a noteworthy addition to the series.
Speculation among fans points towards the villain being Mephisto, rumored to be portrayed by Sacha Baron Cohen.
