Marvel has unveiled the teaser for “Captain America: Brave New World.” In this highly anticipated release, Anthony Mackie takes up the shield, and Harrison Ford makes his Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) debut on February 14, 2025.
The Falcon’s transformation into Captain America is showcased in “Captain America: Brave New World.” Anthony Mackie, known for his role as the Falcon in earlier MCU films, was officially passed the mantle of Captain America at the end of the Disney+ series “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier” in 2021. This film marks his first theatrical appearance as the iconic superhero, a title previously held by Chris Evans’ character, Steve Rogers, in earlier Marvel films.
Adding to the excitement, Harrison Ford will be seen for the first time in the MCU, portraying U.S. President Thaddeus Ross. He seeks Captain America’s help as they face an international crisis. According to the official synopsis, Captain America must unearth the truth behind a devious global conspiracy before the real villain plunges the world into chaos.
The film also features a star-studded cast that includes Danny Ramirez, Shira Haas, Xosha Roquemore, Carl Lumbly, Giancarlo Esposito, Liv Tyler, and Tim Blake Nelson.
“Captain America: Brave New World” is set to hit theaters on February 14, 2025.
