Fans eager for the first glimpse of ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ may face a letdown as Marvel Studios has decided not to unveil the film’s trailer during Super Bowl LX. Reports indicate that the decision stems from high advertising costs associated with this year’s event, where a 30-second spot has surged to nearly $10 million, up from around $7.5 million last year.

According to a recent report from Deadline, several major studios are reassessing their promotional strategies for the Super Bowl, and Marvel is no exception. Notably, the studio, which has previously launched major titles like ‘Avengers: Endgame’ and ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ during the game, is opting out this time around.

While Marvel fans may not witness any new Marvel content on Super Bowl Sunday, they can look forward to other exciting trailers. Anticipated releases include ‘Scream 7,’ which will feature a showdown between the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots, as well as fresh footage from ‘The Super Mario Galaxy Movie,’ ‘Hoppers,’ ‘Toy Story 5,’ and updates from ‘The Mandalorian’ series.

Regarding the highly anticipated ‘Avengers: Doomsday,’ directed by the Russo brothers, the first full trailer is expected to emerge closer to the film’s release date on December 18. Following this, fans can anticipate ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’ to hit theaters just a year later, on December 17, 2027. Adding to the excitement, images showcasing a new look of Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom have been circulating on social media, with reports suggesting that his character will feature a different mask than those seen in previous adaptations.

Despite the disappointment of not having a trailer debut during the Super Bowl, there remains much to look forward to in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and beyond, proving once again that anticipation and excitement continue to build as fans await the latest entries in the franchise.
