The popular detective series, The Marlow Murder Club, is set to make its return with a third season following a successful second season that aired in April. UKTV has announced that filming for the new installment is already underway, promising viewers six new episodes featuring three intriguing murder mysteries to solve, with each case spanning two episodes.

Jo Martin and Samantha Bond will be back in their roles, joined by returning cast members Cara Horgan and Natalie Dew, who will reprise their characters. According to the show’s synopsis, the team will tackle high-profile murder cases including the sudden death of the town’s beloved Mayor and the mysterious demise of a celebrity chef during a public event. Additionally, the narrative will unfold at a university reunion set in an eerie manor house, where one of the amateur sleuths, Becks, finds herself amidst the suspects, adding an unexpected twist.

Based on the bestselling book series by Robert Thorogood, this season is inspired by the third book titled “Queen of Poisons.” Thorogood, known for his work on Death in Paradise and its spin-offs, has co-written the scripts for the first two episodes alongside Daniel Rusteau.

Although no specific release date has been announced, fans can look forward to the new season premiering on U and U&DRAMA in 2026. Seasons one and two of The Marlow Murder Club are currently available for viewing on U.

The renewal of The Marlow Murder Club not only showcases the growing popularity of the series but also reflects the audience’s desire for authentic and intriguing storytelling in the detective genre. With its cozy ambiance and engaging characters, viewers can surely anticipate another entertaining season that promises to keep them guessing.
